I don’t think cyclings ever got rid of doping but I think the last decade or so have been a lot cleaner where there’s probably been micro dosing going off but this year none of what I’m seeing is making any sense.

I think there’s either a new doping product in use or some teams & riders are taking advantage of a lack of dope testing due to COVID & pushing the boundaries.

Ineos & Jumbo are the two best teams at grand tours in the sport & they’re been made to look like muppets. Porte, Carapaz, Thomas & Geoghan-Hart all looked to be going into the Tour in great shape after looking good in the warm up races yet they’re hopeless particularly Porte & G-Hart. OK, Thomas is injured but the other 3 aren’t. They’ve both done there usual pre-Tour camps in Tenerife & Tignes as well.

Sepp Kuss is one of the best climbers in the world & he’s been dropped by Sonny Colbrelli a sprinter today who should be knackered after been on the attack the previous day. Colbrelli’s also dropped Quintana & Michael Woods today.

Pogacar took nearly 4 minutes out of Carapaz, Mas, Uran, Gaudu, Kelderman & co over about 12km of climbing. It’s just mental. Even Armstrong & Contador never did anything like that.

Thomas De Gendt & Greg Van Avaemart are two of the best breakaway specialists in the sport & they’re saying they’re riding at similar levels to last year but can’t make the breakaways & are only just making the time cut.

I always say I hope I’m wrong with stuff like this but I can’t believe what I’m watching.

Yeah it's not credible. The interview from De Gendt was as close as a rider will come to breaking omerta.
