    Tried to guess which were his goals without being able to see very well on my phone. Just shows what he can do running onto the ball rather than being asked to hold it up.

    There was a home game in October think vs QPR when they were down to 10 men. Schmidt came on last 25 mins and had at least 4 opportunities to score and in fact should have had an Hatrick. I think Val would have seen him in his plans if that game had have been different for him. I think Val expressed his disappointment even after a convincing win to not score more. In fact missing so many 'easy' chances seemed to do the opposite and put him down the pecking order.

    Thanks for sharing. Watching that Schmidt looks like a real player, fantastic movement on every clip, always finding space in the box.

    He wasn't what Val needed and may not be what Schopp wants either. But I wouldn't write him off at all.

    Him and Simoes both squandered a boat load in that 25 minute spell. We really should have had double figures that game. I agree with you about Schmidt. He just needed a goal in that game and he'd have got the gig up front.
