I think that’s been established. But regardless of the subject. It went off on a tangent. Either by YN himself or those that chose to make an issue of anything he posted. He definitely was a WUM. But couldn’t take the flack. Heading his way in retaliation.
Some posters are trying to make valid points and are being shouted down because it gets back round to racism. Not one of those posters have condoned anything he said re racism. Some folk make remarks that are taken fully out of context to the meaning of the poster. And they ( the poster) are crucified for it.

Shed posts like that all the time. I've taken to not reading their posts as it confuses me and hurts my head so much. I should probably just pop them on ignore as I read so few of their posts but it would make the thread disjointed and I occasionally cast my eyes over them to try and get the general gist of what they are trying to say. When I am going to attempt it, I pretty much always read the last line or two of their post first as 90% of the time it's actually just a really long, rubbish, joke. I'm not saying I expect them to change their posts or anything, of course, just commenting that it's not unusual for them to write like that and that it's just a coincidence that their post is about YN this time (unless you mean they're on a constant wind up).

No I did just mean this one post. I'd never noticed he did it before and probably only noticed in this thread because I was thinking about nudger while reading it.

I'm not a very observant person as you may have noticed

I don’t do cliques. I’m a complete loner. But there are some decent, compassionate people on here, who I agree with & support. That’s just human nature.
Likewise, there are opinions which don’t sit easy with me. Not necessarily wrong or not valid, just different to my own. I’ve occasionally called people out on stuff, but realise now, it’s not worth the effort & time.
Time was, an individual would have to achieve some sort of status to have their voice heard. Literature, journalism, politics or other ‘arts’.
Nowadays, it’s a free for all. Way too easy. No pause for thought, consideration or reflection.
It saddens me, & it will not change. :(

Rising Damp was laughing at Rigsby's character so no I don't think laughing at it would make you racist.

Leonard rossiter along with Ronnie barker were the best comedy actors ever imo, that was it with Rigsby' you weren't laughing with him you were laughing at him..
