Anybody else not fully confident about Denmark match?

Not confident, whilst not pessimistic either, I think the score will be 2-1 to whoever gets the 1st goal. I’ve based this on absolutely nothing more than a gut feeling.

In the last year we've played them twice, lost at Wembley and 0-0 draw in Denmark, I'd say you've every right not to be fully confident.

I feel strangely confident that we will win before the 90 mins are up.

 

I hate to break this to you but pretty much all of England’s players dive / waste time / try and con the ref. All the time.

 

Has any team ever gone through a major tournament without conceding a goal ?

 

I once drew England in the sweepstake for the World Cup one year. The wife came home from work and said they'd had a sweepstake at work as well......

I hate to break this to you but hardly as cynically or blatantly as the Italians.

 

There's a difference though between the normal, accepted standards of gamesmanship and the art form as practised by Immobile.

 

Im not sure there is to be honest. Yes it’s wrong that he was play acting but the only difference is that they scored at the same time so his ‘miraculous recovery’ was brought forward a few seconds and painted against a slightly different background.

I just think the days of ‘cheating Johnny Foreigner’ are long gone. We caught up years ago, even in the lower leagues everyone’s at it. When Sterling, Kane etc throw themselves to the floor for their clubs everyone criticises them. It gets overlooked when they play for England.

 

Think we’ll get past the Danes, but I’ve enjoyed watching them this tournament. They’ll give us more of a game than Ukraine did.

 

My confidence has just shrunk having just paid for return travel, a night in a hotel and two tickets for the final.
