Well I was cool a few weeks back but just over 3 weeks out and apart from Cole all been outgoings and I’m worried players should be in and getting used to the club/team! It’s just typically Barnsley
I am a bit surprised by your anxiety Juddy, as apart from a replacement for Mowatt & possibly a left back I think we are good to go , no worries from me .
Agree but another forward would be on my list too. Not sure about Chaplin and Frieser and Victor needs moving on.
I cannot disagree with you apart from maybe Frieser , he reminds me somewhat of Derek Parker when he first came to the club & would love him to end up as a player of similar quality , we will see .
Miller needs to move on or the poor lad will have forgotten how to play football. Best for him to kick on elsewhere. Frieser deffo stays - IMHO. Potential steady performer that we need. Chaplin can stay. Hope that he a)kicks on. b)gets the minutes on the pitch to do so. Victor. meh. I don't have a problem with him coming off the bench, but I don't have a problem him kicking on elsewhere either. I do feel however that 'off the bench' worked in our favour last year when he was running at tired defences. That might not be the case this year. Whoever does leave, goes with my best wishes.
Not worried, need to see the way we play and setup before deciding who might be best suited to play which position/role.
Forest have signed the American goalkeeper, can you believe it. I thought that was our route with Dane. Oh wait, Dane, why no official statement.
I suspect the question ‘was that one of our targets’ will be asked for every Forest signing especially in this and the next transfer windows. It could be, or it could be case of chasing the same target anyway. Bottom line is if we try to sign a player and he doesn’t want to come we can do nothing about it.
Doubt very much we was ever in the market for this guy. Signed from Bruge on a out of contract basis, already an established International and was also heavily linked to Spurs last month.
