    Can't see Simoes surprising anyone.

Get ready for Kitching to become a fans' favourite though.

I think both Williams's are well up to scratch. It depends on the formation I guess.

Odour needs more time on the left of the front 3, that's his position. He's not combatitive enough as a wing back.

i’m interested to see what he is all about as i haven't seen him play much at all. Who do we think he will replace and what formation do we think he will fit into?

Liam Kitching looks to have the makings of a fantastic player.

Ben Williams i've always been a big fan of. Crunching tackles, physicality, still very young. I can't wait to see him get some more minutes

Simoes will surprise me if he is still here in a few weeks time but I have high hopes for Ben Williams, I think there is a lot of potential in him.

Always get the impression that young Ben cares and will give us 100%.
    All that matters to me.

    Your criteria has major flaws.

    I care.
    I’d give 100%

I’m also 47, haven’t kicked a football in anger in about 15 years and im a decent 3 stone heavier then I should be. Apart from that I’m a shoe in up front next year!

The big difference is that the coach might pick Ben Williams.

Not sure why Simoes is so reviled.

Not first young footballer with talent to take time to get his act together. Big Val called him out so let’s see how he reacts when given a chance.

Plenty of skill to build on and wasn’t it him that scored the winner at QPR after lockdown which set us on our way to the great escape.

    Give the lad a chance.

Williams has got potential. He seemed prone to errors and rash challenges before his injury but he's still so young, he could improve a lot. I like him and want him to do well.

Why do people not fancy Simoes's chances of coming back into the team? It wasn't encouraging that Donny didn't play him, but he seemed highly rated a year ago.

Anyone fancy Ritzy to come back stronger after his year in the Europa League?

For me, all our players start with a clean sheet. If any of the lads felt out of favour under Valerien Ismael (like Tony Sibbick did with Gerhard Struber), then I hope some of them blossom under Markus Schopp. It'd certainly save us a bit of money in the transfer market.

There aren't that many who could surprise me cos I rate most of them.

Ritzy performing well would be a surprise.

I have to say that to me the Bury Baggio bossing midfield a la Mowatt would be a welcome surprise.

Palmer impressed me in the play off semi’s.

    Why not?

Questions marks over his attitude, fair. But honestly, if you watch him and don't think he's got talent...... well let's just say I wouldn't be employing you as a scout.
