There's been a couple of threads on here recently about BBS meet-ups, and a few more threads that suggest a few people here are quite happy to enjoy the great outdoors.

How would you feel about a BBS charity walk? Could do 20-30 miles or something over a day, with proceeds going to something like Barnsley Hospice or Barnsley Hospital Charity. God knows they'd be grateful for it.

It could be an opportunity for newer posters like me to meet some old faces and raise some dosh for a good cause in the process. An outdoor walk is fairly socially distanced/safe in the current climate as well, at least when you compare it to dozens of folk in a compact nightclub or 60k in a stadium.

Any takers? Assuming maybe an August date for logistics?

And for those who aren't able to practically do an extended walk, we could plan a route where you could join for a stretch of it that's more reasonable to you

If I'm in the country I'd definitely be up for that. Though I reckon ten miles punctuated with plenty of pubs would be more realistic!

I would be well up for it , I did the Yorkshire 3 peaks with " The Reds in the Community " in 2016 to raise money for the Hospice, brilliant day ,especially with everyone being a red it made it more enjoyable , there may be one or two on this forum who did it that day as I think there were about 35 of us , loved it although it was a tough challenge ,

I'll be away for most of August but I'm happy to help with designing a route, producing sat nav GPX files, live tracking etc. Great idea.

As long it isn't on the TPT. I've heard Nudger has a restraining order and is threatening people with legal action :D
