I've just got back from town expecting massive free for alls but the opposite has happened. Went in a jewelers hand sanitized wore a mask another couple walked in they too wore a mask. Went to the barbers wore a mask hand sanitized and asked to sign in with a contact number. Went in the Alhambra centre didn't see one person without a mask. Called in Boots chemist everybody including staff were wearing masks. Caught bus home everybody bar one lady (maybe exempt) wore a mask. In my view there was no different behaviour to what's become the "norm" of the past few months.
Just back from town, couple pints in Bramahs served at bar no mask; wandered into market, hand sanitiser but no staff outside, barely a mask to be seen inside.
Just been on twitter and apparently there are anti-lockdown protests in London which are kicking off a bit. Can anybody who knows about that kind of stuff explain why?
all sorts of reasons most of them based on miconceptions a lot of them are antivaxers, https://metro.co.uk/2021/07/19/lond...rches-continue-despite-rules-easing-14951654/
My adblocker reckons 120, and Ghostery threw up 33 trackers. Quite something, even for a newspaper in 2021!
The Birmingham Mail is the worst I've seen for usability, and that only gets 12 and 17 respectively. I think I'm going to whitelist it just to have a look. See you after the reboot.
Just been to my local corner shop. Didn't wear a mask for the first time, felt a lot better. Person serving not wearing a mask. Bizarrely two cars went by (not uber, taxi drivers etc) and both drivers wearing masks, in 31 degree heat driving alone. I worry for the sanity of some people. I won't wear a mask from now on and will purchase a sunflower lanyard (for legitimate reasons) in case I'm challenged in tesco and sainsburys, which appear to be a law unto themselves.
Looks like there are only 10 ads and 21 trackers on that - poor show. The Metro's seem to be multiplying - 120 and 55 now. Edit: trackers just gone to 59, and then 66. At least the ads seem consistent!
