Surely it has the impact that if people have been double jabbed, there is less chance of them passing on a fatal dose from double jabbed to a none jabbed, rather than a DJ to a DJ? (clarify-Double jabbed) Nowt else!
I know there's no easy answer to any of this, it's a matter of crunching numbers.
Now the virus appears to be affecting a lower age bracket it's becoming more important it can be controlled but I think we've a long way to go yet

Mine will remain in my pocket until such time as I can happily bin it for good.

Seems like pure blackmail to me, as @BarnsleyReds says I don't think they will end up going through with it.

Probably more dangerous keeping a mask in your pocket then strapping it to your face than not wearing one at all.

Really? Where do you keep yours? Hermetically sealed, super sanitised lead lined box?

Well I just find both of the ideas a breach of peoples rights, its just forcing peoples hand in having a vaccine that doesn't stop you catching or spreading covid. If were going down these routes of covid passports etc were more or less forcing people to take the vaccine

Out of interest, could you explain to me what is so unbearable about having to wear a mask? Because it's never been more than a very mild inconvenience to me.

Kept it in my pocket, but I only wore one because it was a legal requirement not because I thought it had a health benefit.

The safer option would be to put it on clean then keep it on until you get home.

Was a mail sent out explaining it complied with government policy. Though in fairness that doesn't prove legality does it!

The coolness of the mask and my knackers were my only concern. Nigel Farage should applaud my individualism. God bless the rcsist lovely person.

If vaccine passports are to be required in nightclubs and other large-gathering venues from end-September why on earth are we allowing them to operate unhindered for the next ten weeks or so?

When I was a kid I was proper fussy. My trainers had to be super tight, I couldn’t wear trainer socks, any t-shirts with logos on had to have iron on patches on the back. Dunt get me going on football shirts, I couldn’t stand the things and just couldn’t/wouldn’t tolerate them.

Then I grew out of it.

Students. Dispersed all over at the moment, seething cesspits of disease in the cities in September if they don't get vaxxed.

Not got a problem with people choosing not to wear a mask. The only balance should be that they should have to have the NHS track & trace app. I bet there's a massive correlation between not wearing one & not downloading and it's no doubt one of those ***** that's caused me to be, pretty much, in isolation for 20 out of the last 25 days.
