Didn't they say they would suspend sales at 11000 so everyone could attend socially distanced if require? Edit: Once the 11,000 figure is hit, a waiting list will be created allowing further supporters to register interest. Once we have assurances from the relevant agencies that we can accommodate in excess of 11,000 supporters, the sales process will resume. If this step is implemented, further information will be shared. From here: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2021/may/thank-you-members/
Because no football fans will be attending oakwell next season . It just won’t happen IMO Cases too high and hospitals already getting full . My wife works at Hallam hospital and already been put on standby to move back into intensive care in the next two weeks. Now affecting kids . Two of my mates kids are currently in hospital with COVID aged 3 and 5 no underlining health conditions
Sorry to hear about your mate's kids, please pass on my hopes for a swift recovery. The world is looking at us with incredulity, this government have a lot to answer for.
Probably awaiting clarification from the Government (good luck with that!) as to whether grounds can be fully opened up, or what restrictions are to be applied with regards to percentage of capacity.
Are the kids in Rotherham hospital by any chance? - I'd heard 2 kids under 5 were on oxygen therapy...
Sorry to hear that pal. here’s why sorry about your mates kids but stop scaremongering!! Roll on the 14th!!! You reds
Regardless, 11,000 season tickets is a fantastic effort. IF we can have an unrestricted attendance this season, we're looking at an average gate of at least 13,000 you'd think. In terms of relative attendance compared to population, we've got to be one of the better supported teams in the country.
It doesn't matter to me. If I can't get in, I'm going to charge the Ponty End like those blokes at Wembley
We've averaged around or above 13k for the last four seasons with around 8-9k ST holders, depending on away followings and how we are doing we could push 15k
Due to a huge influx of former Sheffield Wednesday supporters showing how mardy they are with their own club's lack of ambition .... or anything ... BFC have told them all to wait a while until their applications for season tickets at BFC have been processed.
