Whatever is said about this clown Johnson it will be like water off a duck's back, he gets pilloried every Wednesday by Starmer and Blackford and he just ruffles his hair lies his way out without answering any questions backed up by that useless Lynsey Hoyle and people believe his nonsense, I have no doubt what Cummins say's will be the truth about Johnson but no one cares it's become the norm in this country because people were duped into voting for Brexit by Johnson and don't want to admit they were suckered.

Pretty damning also shows Johnson doesn’t understand basic numbers.

The way he ran the brexit show. There'll be lots who would use him in the art of conning the public.

Theres a distinct mood change in the media. It's not got to the levels to push to unseat DePfeffel, but its certainly been ratcheted up.

Its worth remembering, the tories are ruthless once they see negativity and the effect of adverse polling. It's also telling Kuenssberg had the interview with Cummings. The BBC has been worse than passive under DePfeffels tenure, so this feels like a significant shift. You've also got Beth Rigby on Sky asking some heavy questions, to the point where she's been blocked from asking questions at briefings numerous times.

I wouldn't be surprised to see regime change before the end of the year and some collusion behind the scenes during summer recess.

I don't like the guy but I take my hat off to Cummings. He might not be liked but he doesn't give a shiny ****. He's Machiavellian to the extreme. He'll also be made for life through his memoirs and probably won't need another "pet" venture. He's trying to bring the government down just for fun.

He'll probably get another high profile civil service job somewhere else.

Well 2 points - our current political system isnt fit for purpose when 30% of the electorate give one side total power and they can ride roughshod over assumed conventions like respecting the treaties they sign and telling the truth
and second - Cummings is very good at his real job which is sabotaging the UK

The BBC's/Kuenssberg's attitude has shifted ever since Cummings went. It's pretty clear she's very close to him and pedals his story at every opportunity.

So only over 80s will die so he would kill off his own dad who should have had a vasectomy in his younger days to save us from his son.

    It just dawned....

The DePfeffel whatsapp message re only 80 year old dieing. Has he perhaps forgotten he was hospitalised himself and there were numerous mouthpieces close to government alleging that he nearly died from covid?

Precisely. It never rung true to me at the time. And I certainly didn't buy the excess overegging the tories made of it.

I suspect if Cummings had some form of proof Johnson had milked the "hospitalisation"... that might just be the beginning of the end for DePfeffel.

There were some "out there" rumours at the time that Johnson was in detox instead of hospital with Covid...

Given his previous evidence and releases, Cummings is lining himself up for a job under either Gove or Sunak - he thinks one of those two will be the next PM.

Does this need a lot of analysing? It's just a rat, ratting on another rat.

Whichever way you look at it this country is being led by immoral low-life

Why do most folk believe Cummings is lying in this instance. It's a different thing lying to cover your own arse. ( And I wouldn't be surprised boris helped him concoct that Barnard castle story. Given the way he stood up for him initially ) Than get tied up in a possible libel case with someone else. Bo jo and party.

or on this occasion why do some folk think he is telling the truth because it suits, after labelling him an inveterate liar for years?

I don't doubt some of it is, but the guy is after revenge so could be anything thrown in there. After all he told us the eye test thing with a straight face!
