I agree entirely, I thought it brought more variety to the game & teams were more adventurous towards the end of games using fresh legs to push for goals, a lot of late winners last season , it also gives chances to young players to get some game time ,when the game is is either well won or even lost a coach has opportunity to throw on a couple of youngsters & gain some experience .
I agree, but I suppose the counter argument is , it could offer an advantage to clubs who have bigger budgets an better quality subs in all departments, or like us last year quality attacking subs to batter opposition teams
It helped "teams like Barnsley" so it goes against the status quo. It had to go. We can't be having Barnsley in the Premier League because when it goes to a franchise we'll never get rid.
