    I’m not a social media user but it seems she is banned on all but Instagram.
    Is it quite common for extremist celebs to be barred ??
    I don’t recall another instance.

    I think she openly flouted local Covid regulations and was kicked off their "Big Brother" and kicked out of the country. I am sure someone will correct me if my memory is not fully functioning. I only heard/read about this event once.

    Yes she's vile, but she's also pretty much irrelevant. I'm not even convinced she genuinely believes most of the $hite she comes out with. She offends for cash. I can't get angry with her any more. She's just like a cartoon character to me. Best just to laugh at her.

    It's insane how easily this has become a valid occupation.

    How many saddo "political commentators" are there now, like? "Broadcasting" from their mam's cellar and churning out bile and trying to pass it off as Leviathan.

    1. Pick an absurdly narrow political angle 2. Be offensive 3. Rile up your "base" 4. Piśś off strangers on the internet 5. Appear on Daily Politics/GBeebies and then reality TV shows 6. Die a shallow, hollow shell of a person corrupted and despised, to be remembered only as a "controversial" footnote.

    But in the meantime: $$$ (probs not even that much).

    she put out a youtube vid joking about how should was going to open the hotel room door naked and in no mask. She was going on about the fact they had to wait so many seconds after a knock at the door from a hotel worker bringing food etc. All her way of poking fun at the lockdowns and saying the ozzie families should be re-united. Anyway the video caused a stir and they have sacked her from big brother (which is why she had been flown in) and were deporting her.

    Its wrong that they are importing sportspeople and celebs into the country and filling up the quarantine hotels whilst families including those with dying relatives are left unable to get back home.

    She's more than an extremist celeb. She has consistently shared content from Nazis and condoned violence against those of opposing political views. She has consistently used her platform to post islamophobic propaganda.

    It's not like she wasn't given a huge amount of leeway before her eventual bans. I'm all for freedom of speech but that doesn't mean no consequences for your actions.

    Its all about persona imo' if you look at Simon cowell and Gorden ramsay for instance they have made a vast amount of money through creating a persona that offends' the british public love it for some reason the nastier the better' personally i don't think Katy hopkins believes what she spouts at all' she's constantly keeping herself in the public eye' very astute lady i think' just giving the public what they want and getting very wealthy doing it..
