Donald Trump would have been all over the news by now if he had told the world such a blatant lie. Biden should be getting called out all over the press for saying it.
Trump lied multiple times a day, every day he was in power*, I’m not defending Joe, but the comparison to Trump is beyond ridiculous. *not going looking, but didn’t it exceed 10,000 lies?
Biden is 90% correct in his statement, the inveterate liar that was and still is Trump was 100% wrong on matters Covid.
I can let him off for that one. I can't let Trump off for more than 16,000 lies. Edit: more than 30,000 according to The Washington Post.
@dreamboy3000 If you’d have just had a go at Biden for the lie, your post would have possibly led to a sensible discussion, but the comparison to Trump makes it a laughing stock
I've noticed* you like a good footnote at the moment don't you? *several times this past couple of days
A lie or does he not understand the science? Do any of his advisors understand it? He's been in power for almost 7 months and if that's only thing anyone can criticise him for, I'd say that represents a mammoth improvement on his predecessor.
Trump should stand trial for manslaughter for the way he wilfully misled the American public on covid.
Biden is a dangerous idiot, there's no getting away from it, and there's no denying he gets a much easier ride then Trump did. Biden hasn't got a clue what he's doing with China or Russia and is no friend of the UK IMHO. Trump was a borderline psycho but lets not pretend Biden isn't a bad option for the leader of the free world.
Other than your 'opinion' that he doesn't have a clue why is he bad option for leader of the free world seems to share the same values is trying to mend bridges with allies has almost 10 years experience of the very top level of world politics (VP to Obama for 8 years) Not a science denier Understands that global issues require a global response Why is he a bad choice?
I'm staying well clear of this debate for obvious reasons but any sane person would be able to admit that some of his gaffs, lies, mistakes, etc. would have been amplified to the max had it have been his predecessor. Who for the record was also quite rightly vilified for some of the stupid stuff he would say and do. Consistency is the key and there isn't any in the media whichever country you look at. Biden is hardly making positive decisions that don't deserve critique every day. We might not see it covered by our news over here as we've got our own issues to deal with annoyingly, but they're in a mess as well.
I don't think anyone would say Biden is the best choice but who else is an electable alternative? There's a few that would be preferable but theyd a) never get elected and b) have even less chance of getting anything through the Senate. The country is screwed but at least it's no longer in the hands of a madman.
I have to say some of the footage of Biden is deeply disturbing. The guy is bordering on senile at times. Not fit to be president in my view, regardless of who came before him.
There must be someone surely? America’s a big country. The guy can barely string two words together at times, he often looks like he’s forgotten what he’s talking about.. He doesn’t exactly instil confidence.
