Dancing horses and dancing swimming allowed but no squash no darts no bog snorkling no nipsy. I mean really!?
Love the Olympics but there's not much I'll be watching live this time. GB v Japan in the women's footy, Adam Peatys heat and the end of the road race all tomorrow morning at a decent time so I'll watch those.
Looks like the BBC are going pretty much non-stop Saturday 00:10-13:40 - BBC One 13:40-13:55 - BBC Two 13:55-18:00 - BBC One TV Highlights 19:00-20:30 - BBC One 20:30-21:30 - BBC Two, Olympics 2020: Extra Sunday 00:00-12:00 - BBC One 12:00-12:15 - BBC Two 12:15-18:00 - BBC One 22:30-23:59 - BBC One TV Highlights 19:30-21:00 - BBC One 21:00-22:30 - BBC Two, Olympics 2020: Extra Also 24 hour coverage on the red button. Hopefully they won't focus too much on just the Brits, got a bit fed up of the Elise(?) Christie fest at the winter Olympics. It's best when you just find yourself watching something random like Kayak Slalom.
Much as I'd love you all to watch our show at midnight, there is decent catch-up service on the iPlayer & website, plus a 90' highlights show on BBC One every evening.
We’ve got lots of talented boxers. A few of the women look good bets for medals including Daniel Dubois sister Caroline. I’m hoping Frasier Clarke can win the gold in the heavies. He narrowly missed selection behind Joshua in 2012 & then Joyce in 2016 & now he’s had to wait an extra year. He’s hung around in the amateurs for over 10 years when he could’ve turned pro & earned good money because he wants to win gold at the Olympics. I hope his gamble pays off
Definitely the mad thing. BBC One & Red Button. Few more minutes of this opening ceremony on One, then we're going into some football, then live rowing.
Partly because I'm not bothered about athletics, partly because I no longer watch terrestrial television and partly because it is Covid hit I keep forgetting it is on. I have a vague interest in the cycling, but even then, it's not the World Championships.
I know, that’s what I mean. I got up early and was watching it on red button and then it said to go to BBC One to continue watching. It’s just interviews and news etc. on there and on Red Button it’s cycling on both streams!
