Given he stays injury free, and can get a run of games in the side, I honestly think Herbie Kane has the potential to be as good, if not better than Mowatt.

I'm not convinced Ritzmaier is up to the physical nature of the Championship personally.

Really hope that Kane plays ro his potential and shakes off this injury so we can have him at his best.

I think I’m the only Barnsley fan that honestly sees a good player in Ritzmaier but obviously his previous appearances for us have been rubbish, but I have faith given the right opportunity he can be a good player

    No I’m there with you.

The only way it’s going to happen though is if our fans get off his back.

Both him and Wilks were streets ahead of anything we had when we played against Donny, they play for us and we don't use them effectively.

Have a feeling Kane might show his true value with a change in style. Dilemma for me is wanting Styles to play central midfield but also wanting an experienced, games wise, body in the middle as well.

At this point we haven’t got a scooby what the formation will be, so I suppose Styles, Kane and a new signing could have a role. Supplemented by the very capable Palmer.

I’m waiting for us to sign, or not sign, an out and out left back to judge where we’re at setup and formation wise.
