best game so far, great family entertainment, i still prefer the purist form of the game but can't complain about this especially if it gets people watching W.I v Aus btsport3 on now
yes, punishment actually during the game is a good idea along with scrapping the batsmen crossing law, but is the cut off time regularly adjusted for 4/6's wkts & ball cleaning? got to be some sort of discretion
Going back to the earlier conversation about mixed cricket in the 100. Though it was clear men can't play against women competitively. I do quite like the idea of a single table rather than seperate ones for each gender. So supporters are encouraged to pull for both the men and Women's teams for their franchise.

stokes lost that game, assuming he got the arse on with the intruder which wasn't seen on on telly, they only got a single anyway, then bump stokes spills the re-taken ball for 6 giving hales the confidence, then he continued with pace when he had spinners in the bank! but our 2 games have been the best so far from big hitting to the tediously spinners on top
Yeah. This is why Stokes isn't captain material but still... Willey, barring a couple if big hitting innings and the odd decent spell when the ball's swinging, I just don't see what the fuss is about. It baffles me that he's anywhere near the England team.

It wasn’t about the money at all, the prices were fixed and standardised across the teams. The teams were drafted from pools of players and I believe England red ball contracted players were the first to get picked with the new tournament just being part of their existing contract with essentially one player going to each team, because they got to pick from the group one at a time. Players that were not contracted to England were then selected with a sliding salary scale based on how early they were selected and a maximum of 3 oversees players.
captaincy lost Northern Superchargers the game. To give up 1 run and risk 6 to ball again was awful. To bowl himself in the final 15 balls and then back to back with Willey was awful. I was surprised he bowled the main spinners out instead of sneaking another Carse 5 or Stokes bowl 5 earlier. Seems like a lot of poor decisions and didn't do well enough in the field. See what happens now Stokes steps out.
i'd tried to not get an allegiance to any of the franchised teams, obviously leeds is the home one, but i did get pi55ed off last night, think it got to 98% on the win prediction for northern solarchargers before stokes thought "**** it, i've got my money" and goes to england if that was yorkshire i'd be fuming
Unless he’s inked in to play in the test team, he should’ve just been allowed to stay in the hundred, ahead of the t20 World Cup
