This testing instead of isolating thing. Anyone actually understand it?

    How do you find out if you are exempt or not? BBC says it's now extended to cover a lot more jobs but that's about as specific as it gets and I can't find anything on the government website

    It’s certain companies isn’t it? So your employer would know and tell you.

    The problem is my employer is the one trying to find out but can't get a straight answer out of anyone. I'm not actually one who's been asked to self isolate, I'm just doing 4 people's works because they are :(

    If they don’t know then it’s not them. Test and Trace will let the companies that they have identified know that they can take part. There’s also a separate scheme where employers can apply for inclusion but only for specific named staff.

    You'd think suppliers to hospitals, care homes and schools would count though wouldn't you.
