Loads of men in their early fifties loitering around with guts and looking generally unhealthy and plenty of women with those highly prized gunts.

Based on my observations I think I would have to support a "Porky Passport" given the strain that fatties put on the NHS from excessive joint wear & Tear through to issues with hypertension and cardiovascular disease. Which kills more than the Covids.

Combine one of the side effects of being fat with a respiratory illness and it doesnt bode well.

Therefore given the risk of a comorbidity fat men and especially those over 50 (whom are at higher risk if they get Covid) with a body fat percentage above 20% should be restricted from accessing cafes, takeaways, pubs, restaurants, sporting venues where there's catering and be blanket banned from accessing Just Eat etc until they have been signed off by a medical professional as no longer being a fatty.

lets be right, if you are a unfit fat 50 plus year demanding that someone in their teens can be cajoled, coerced and blackmailed into having a vaccine and a "vaccine passport" so they can feel safe the very least you can do is look after your own body given how much of a at risk demographic you belong to,

This thread as got me so mad,I can’t finish my bargain bucket ,in all seriousness, sometimes it’s easy to judge people, but no one wants to be fat,it’s hard to shift it once it’s on,also having to buy foods on a low budget can lead you on a slippery slope ,it’s not all black and white this overweight business

Did these fat men actually have placards or something demanding that teenagers be coerced into having the vaccine or did they just have a chant going? Was it to a tune you recognise? :D

His last paragraph is bang on the money though. If you're in an at risk group due to your lifestyle and you've done sod all to address that over the last 18 months then you've got no right to go telling other people they're selfish for not wanting a vaccine etc after all they've been forced to sacrifice for you.

And by you I don't mean you :)

And what if as a consequence of having Covid and the related health issues you have not been in a position to try to take action such as exercise ( gentle or otherwise) to help curb your weight. When you’re of a certain age, weight is harder to keep off for many ( metabolism) especially if you’re one that has had to work at it most of your adult life. But no he just fecking generalises as per.

Having a vaccine is a lot easier than losing a lot of weight though isn't it? And losing weight is not possible for a lot of people for various social and economic reasons.

And I say this as somebody that was very overweight back in 2018 or so. I was over 21 stone and I had a bit of a health scare that made me re-evaluate. I lost 6 stone in about a year and I haven't looked back (although admittedly I put a bit of weight on during lockdown while the gyms have been closed. I'm double jabbed now though, so I'm starting to get back into it)

No, the office. At home. In the car. On a train. In bed.
