Welcome Obi. Hope your the one to fire us far away into the Premiership. May the force be with us.

I wonder if we will still be after Stipe Perica in this case. In some ways, if the nature of the deal for Oulare is correct, we can't lose, but we may need another similar striker, should Obbi's injury issues re-emerge. I would hope that we might bring Perica back on the coach with us on Saturday.

Can’t help but feel a bit wary about this signing for obvious reasons especially with how physical the championship is.Let’s hope the lad can have some better luck with injuries and prove people wrong .

I think with this lad & Cole we have more pace & power. Chaplin had his chance & whilst he wasn't a failure, he wasn't a great success either. Hopefully we can move on a couple more. I think the Iceman played a decent part in last season, but I'd really like to see Odour or Cole in that position. Maybe he will move on?

So we should be asking a question that there is only one possible answer to, and which you have already supplied?

    Righto.

no, I said what I think the question should be and also gave some reasoning. You had already said what you think it should be. You're right though, there will be only one answer I can think of about knowing if he will be any good for us at this stage. I don't know if he was any good for anyone else. Do you have any alternative view? Balanced debate and all that.

Played Champions league and Europa league,
Can't be a much better pedigree than that.
It appears he's at loggerheads with his club.
    Time to move on.
Hopefully we benefit, can't be a worse gamble than Mido to be fair.

6ft 5 and played at the highest level, this could be a fantastic signing, I'm very excited about this one add to him Woodrow, Morris, Freiser and Cole it looks like some strike force to me. Defence looks strong, keepers are good, wing backs flying and Styles Kane or Palmer in the middle 3 proper footballers come on you reds.

3 midfielders isn't enough. We need another and also a left back. If we get those and don't lose anyone then the squad looks pretty strong to me.

We have the 3 mentioned and Moon Britain Sibbick Halme, Williams and probably more who can play there plus January if we have a freak injury list. How many do you want. Left back with 2 Williams kitchen Oduor we are OK.
I just don't believe a massive squad works or is needed. If we need to move some on then replace then fair enough but I'm OK with what we have.

None of the players you mention are central midfielders, in fact 2 are full backs and 3 are centre halves.
If we're serious about progressing we have to stop using square pegs in round holes.

I know but they have played that position and would only need to fill in if 2 of Palmer, Kane and Styles are injured. 3 great young players let them play not sit on the bench watching, I forgot Ritzmaire who should be a good enough 4th choice cm.

Takes me back to my college days in Leicester, where I survived on draught Bass.
