    Main point is what has our head coach and his staff learned. I would say a lot, not just about players, but. positions, tactics, attitudes etc.

    I know it was only a friendly, against the world’s most expensively-assembled reserve team, but there were very few positives to take away from the match.

    He learnt that his players aren't as good as peps. I'm sure every football fan in the country could have told him that. A match against a lower end PL side would have told him alot more.

    it's a bit hard to know when Man city had so much possession, particularly first half. I think Sibbick seemed solid enough when he came on and Benson impressed.

    Yes, Britain, Benson,
    Frieser pressed hard, Cauley worked hard but snatched at a long shot he could have carried a bit more. Also impressed by Styles (who I feel faded last season)

    We were beaten by vastly superior opposition, with a 2nd choice defence.

    I’m not sure we’d have fared much better with Vals tactics, without Sol, Mads or Alex.

    He didn’t learn that yesterday did he. He knew that Pep’s players are better than ours, they wouldn’t be there otherwise. Our Head coach and his staff will taken much more from that game than you probably can envisage, that’s why they are professional coaches.

    Any engineer would tell you that testing something to breaking point shows you where all the stress points are and what needs strengthening.

    With so many players either injured or not match fit i reckon Schopp won’t know for a month or so what his best team is.
