Both of mine are from Cliffe Kennels. I would recommend a vet check and some anti biotic as mine both had kennel cough. They do a great job with saving and rehoming dogs. Also very happy with the exercise areas where you can introduce the dog to any current ones.

This is our rescue, Pippa. A Boxky (Boxer/Huskie cross, apparently it is a thing in the States). To us just a cross.

Great natured, but a complete escape artist with a massive prey drive. Can you tell I had food ? (and yes crocs as slippers, I am past caring)

We had springers before we rescued Masey and Darcey.
We registered with all Springer rescue places in northern England. Had home and garden vetted, one place in stoke said our working patterns weren't suitable. Another said we were unsuitable if we might have children visiting.
So we went to Mayflower at bawtry for Masey and Many tears in sth Wales for Darcey. That was a long day 2nd jan snowing and dark.
There's plenty wanting homes without encouraging breeders.

I don't think a jar of marmite is the best food for a dog!!

Darcey (cocker) took a fair bit of patience to get used to living in a home with us. But she's getting there with some help from Keith, dog trainer. Having Masey already helped her settle in. Now we're having to teach her to be more independent from Masey. Well worth the effort when they become used to their new surroundings.
