If people are waking straight through the turnstile to their seat I don't see much mask wearing. If you're hanging around in the concourse or using the toilet then it will be an higher proportion of people using them.

Cant really judge the young uns when they haven't had the opportunity to get one. My 16 year old lad is sweating to get his.

When the winning penalty went in at the Millennium in '06.. I ran down the steps carrying some bloke I've never seen before or since.

    Wouldn't want to 'judge' anyone.

This is what I'm interested in - what people will feel is appropriate.

Sorry by they I meant the EFL. Also it may be going back to pre COVD times for some, not others( the ones that I mentioned).

I won't be wearing one. I suspect it will be split like it is in shops now. Some people will put one on then see others not wearing and then stop themselves.
Given how tight the concourse is under the ponty I think if you have a seat in that stand to just accept it will be just like pre covid. East stand upper probably similar, obviously the East lower and west stand are a little different.

Apologies but i dont quite understand this statement.

Why would someone respond to someone not doing something that is not actually stated as a requirement to get into the ground, regardless of age and alcohol consumption.

When we scored against Chelsea '08 I turned to my left and saw a bloke hugging my missus. So I did the only thing I could do...... hugged the bloke to my right :D:D

Can't understand this. I had it on good authority that we'd never be able to attend Oakwell again and that lockdown was permanent.

Because I would have thought the level of voluntary compliance might be affected by how well people see others complying, wouldn't you?

The sad thing is that it’s the people who said we’d never get back in cos the government were fascists, or that we’d need a vaccine passport cos of health apartheid will be the ones not wearing masks or following any sensible precautions which could mean we only get to see half a season before grounds are closed again.

I will definitely wear a mask when in the back of the stand - entering and exiting the stadium, I’m not going to wear it sat in my seat, outside.

and as I sit in the East stand upper, I’ll either leave 2 mins before the end or wait 10 mins until after the final whistle, the crush was pretty grim without a deadly virus.

Being in the exrtremely vulnerable catagory, and attending with my dad who is the same, we have said we are aiming to get into the ground 45 minutes before kick off and will stay in our seats for 10/15 minutes after the final whistle to avoid the main rush.
Ill also wear a mask if/when we walk up/down the stairs from our seat in the east upper its busy, however i probably wont bother if theres only us on our flight of stairs.
I'll also be taking a flask so we can have a brew at half time without going into the melee and will carry a pocket bottle of hand sanitiser to use as and when.
I think a little bit of common sense is all that is required to minimise the risk considering we are both double jabbed.

I won’t be attending for the first few weeks, I’m having my second jab on the 15th and then I’m going to give it a week to take effect.

Agree its poor but its probably an EFL decision based on their commercial TV commitments

30th May but all walk-ins I’ve seen are for Astra-Zeneca and Pfizer, not Moderna.
