Think it’ll be a high scoring draw. Cardiff have their own issues. Big Mick won’t let them slide but I think we’ll have enough to get something Saturday. The attacking options we have are the best in years.
What about demanding Ismael should be sacked in January? What about claiming in January we'd be relegated last season, like Hull City the previous campaign? What about Markus Schopp being exactly like Nigel Spackman, despite not being in charge for a single league game?
I agree, I have a list of concerns - not sure that Collins can play football as it seems he will be required to - and I don't think his shot stopping is that good either - same with the back 3 with regards to playing football. Wing back position - left wing back is a worry also. Midfield - who's playing the anchor role? We don;t know if the new kid Benson can play defensive midfield - my source says he gets stuck in so that's encouraging, Styles is more suited in an attacking role, but can defend, both very young, the others are also all very young. Forward line - we have Morris who if he stays fit will score goals, hopefully given the captaincy to Woodrow will help him along with a more footballing style to suit his abilities. New signings could be anything, Cole probably chip in with 6-7 goals and this new lad Iseka is either going to be the needed replacement for DK or the next Thiam. I think as we have a new system to bed in we probably won't see the best of the team until after 10 games or so, but by then it could be too late to save the season - momentum is everything in this league and to be in or near the bottom 3 is going to be tough, but we did it last season - but with a change of coach.
I'd have liked to see us go like for like after Mowatt left and signalled some intent in the transfer market. It's almost "Alright Jack" based on last season.
Helik and Anderson (when fit) are two of our greatest assets. I hope Schopp plays to their strengths and doesn`t over complicate it for them. This doesn`t mean that we can`t mix it up and try to play more football with the rest of the team>
