    Fantastic player for us during our promotion from league one, his covering and understanding with Adam Hammill down the left really allowed Adam to flourish. A shame that injuries curtailed his time with us, would have been a real asset on our return to the championship had he been fully fit. Glad he’s got a contract.

    Really chuffed for him! He was excellent for us & his partnership with a Adam Hammill was something to behold. I hope he’s over his injury history now - if so, it’s a great signing for Rochdale

    I don't think we'd have many dissenters if we resigned him. Probably wouldn't suit our recent playing styles but he definitely falls into the 7-8 outta 10 every game.

    Still can't believe he's bottom side of 30 though.

    I echo the words of others. Him and Hammill had a fantastic partnership on the field. As good as any, dare I say. Allus liked Aidy. A great player/career, blighted by injuries.
