Walton Sibbick Halme Kitching JWilliams Benson Kane Odour Oulare Cole Iseka Subs Collins Helik Brittain Styles Woodrow Morris Palmer Strong bench to change game if needed
Depends if the new lads are ready.. Kane is a couple of weeks away. Agree about giving Walton a game.
Can't see that side happening. We want a cup run and should respect our lower league opponents not start resting guys after one game.
I think he should go unchanged while the team settles on new positions and style of play. Maybe Kane off the bench to get his fitness up
Listening to our Hc after the match he hinted that out of the players missing yesterday one of them might be ready to play against Bolton ,so I do not expect that many changes , however I would like to see Walton given a game, but I prefer him so my view is biased !!
Minimal changes for me. Get the players who are playing up to speed with the tactics/formation. Marginal tweaks if needed. Just my opinion though. Maybe Walton could be given some game time having said that....
Your right, collins got 1st spot aftet playin in cup games got to keep walton happy personally i think he's a better shot stopper hopefully he's been practicing his passing, thsts the future, clive baker wa mi favourite do shop stopper wonder if he'd av been dropped.theres been alot of goals where i think collins should av done better, that first swansea goal in play offs he wa miles off cos of his positioning youve got to anticipate where balls going to be put, i think walton would av got closer to that. Ps i dont want any rubbish off anyone if theyve got a different opinion.
Don't think we'll make wholesale changes. We've not had many games during pre-season, and whilst it's a competitive game, it's not really important.
With everyone fit and a quality left wing back or Hourihane on a season loan I think we’re in with a fighting chance of top 6.If and it’s a big if we could get CH back I’d stick Styles to wing back solving that problem position.
Play Walton in goal. Other than that, keep the defence and midfield the same. Be good to see any of our 3 newbies upfront get a chance.
I prefer Walton because Collins normally elects to punch where Walton relies more on catching , I have never been keen on goalies punching as I like to see them dominate the 6 yard box by coming & collecting, I also think Walton is the better shot stopper, having said that I think the club are in a good place having two very capable keepers at this level.
Can't see us making 9 changes. Particularly with the relatively few pre season games we've played. I reckon Benson may come in for Palmer depending on the extent of his injury from the weekend. He might elect to bring in one of the new strikers, to get them up to speed, but otherwise I think we'll be largely unchanged.
