Tbf to George he's doing OK. Will get a better view of Vic 2nd half, just frustrating that we haven't scored. Lloyd Isgrove looking very lively for them.
Neat and tidy but we seem to need an extra touch when we get the ball in/around their box, which has meant they've blocked the shot or cross virtually every time. Bolton do look dangerous on the break and our defenders have made some great challenges when it looked like they were in. I know this is a game to experiment in but I honestly wouldn't start Adeboyejo or Miller in League One. The latter especially, when he's not been brushed off the ball, has wasted so many crosses. Hopefully they'll improve second half.
I agree Helen. He's looking very lively; getting into good positions, fighting for the ball, etc. However, as the commentator stated, his only problem today is atrocious crossing. As for our shooting ability, we still seem to have a 20:1 ratio of chances to conversions. Today, the latter was offside. Bring on the second half and let's see some of the new forward options.
To be fair we couldn’t give them away. Not sure why we’re even giving them another chance. Vic might make a career at L2 level at a push. Miller will struggle to find another club at a professional level. Not being harsh here, just honest.
As with Pre-season, we let teams get down our flanks with ease and send crosses whizzing across the face of goal. Luckily, most have not been converted (except for Citeh).
Triggering the one year extension on Vic’s contract and going out to sign three new strikers seems a bit odd
