    Can understand why were still after more players in certain positions after watching that reserve players or not there was a real lack of quality especially 2nd half.

    One thing at a time. This team today firstly need to learn how to trap/control a ball and cross a ball. I think the coach will have learnt a lot today and that won't help 3-4 players push for a place in the first team squad.

    Yes poor tonight. Normal service resumed. Best season since 2015/16 and we couldnt go and weve now gone back to being **** again. Lol. So very barnsley.

    i hope these new strikers are good as we look totally devoid of ideas upfront. Woodrow is all over the place apart from where he needs to be when we attack and the final ball into the box isnt there at all.

    The shining light so far for me is benson. He looks a quality signing.

    very early days but we need to improve a lot.

    I know. Are people forgetting we have close to Six players who are ahead of the front three that finished the game?

    Not sure I’ve known us play such a weakened team before and then make it weaker with the subs.

    seemed strange to play such a weak side. Doesn’t help the lads trying to make an impression.

    Thought they did ok first half against a team that are no mugs. Second half was pretty appalling though.

    Surprised Helik, after being away with Poland, has now played both games. I can see the merit in dropping/resting players after the efforts of last season and playing for two weeks longer than the other teams. Was a very, very weak side though.

    I would have thought like you that Helik would be one to rest but he might be one who just wants to play. Thought it was very hard for any fringe players to make an impact. Understand rotation but was just too weak.

    I think it was the weak XI and the weak bench. Normally you have a couple of the first team to bring on for the last 20/30 minutes but we really didn’t have anyone other than Cole and Kane.

    Happy for Jasper Moon to play 90 minutes and good for Miller to finally make his full debut. Also a deserved mention to Thompson as well. But how much harm would it have been bringing Frieser and Palmer on second half? Or Kitching in to defence and Moon or Halme in to midfield? Just to avoid being too depleted all at once.

    I thought it was poor game management from the manager, it was clear oduor and miller were struggling with cramp or some sort of injury. Practically played with 10 men for the last 15 minutes as miller could hardly move and went up front.
