Victor Adeboyejo and George Miller are not championship quality.

Possibly add to this Clarke Oduor and Ben Williams.

    Convince me otherwise.

That's been my opinion for months.

Edit: Victor and Miller not Williams or Oduor

Clarke Oduor is the most talented player in the squad...

You have to wonder why he's barely played since we signed him 2 seasons ago though. We thought that was down to Struber but Val never played him either.

I thought odour was one of the few positives last night along with benson.
I think we could still be taking pens now and jack walton would have saved one.

Miller did ok. Victor didn't look threatening.

it beggars the question, why were the 2 Belgians lads not even on the bench, they say they are not fit enough, but surely this proves that none of them are

I don't doubt for a minute Victor's commitment or effort but all you need to do is got to wikipedia and look at his career appearance/goals stats to tell you all you need to know. The fact that we're still trying him out at this stage is baffling.

    Why?
Your opinions are the same as everyone else’s on here.
    If no consequence.
Berating certain players does nothing to help and only serves to destroy a player’s confidence. Assuming they actually read some of the drivel posted here, which I doubt.

Don't think we looked unfit last night, perhaps a little off it in terms of match sharpness, but I imagine the Belgian lads, with next to no preseason, are a week or 2 behind still

I’ll have some of what you’ve been having please!

He’s got talent, but he’s also about as mobile as Lee Crooks at times and plays too many minutes looking like he’s completely unaware that he’s on a football pitch in the middle of a game. Thought he was poor last night and we struggled having him as someone to aim for in the box.

What has Ben Williams done wrong? Didn’t even play last night but had a solid game on Saturday. Didn’t let us down at all.

I agree, but whats the point in hammering home a point that's already been made a thousand times?

Possibly too early in the season to form that opinion mate.
I wrote Victor off last season, but he had a storming start. I feel he needs regular starts, and feel he could get that in L1 and become a solid player at that level. As said though, lets see what he brings early doors. He had a good dtart last night, then faded. When he fades, his head drops.
George - again I've thought he should drop down a league or two. He did OK last night though, before getting injured. offered some genuine wing-back surges, just his final ball into the box. However remembering the opposition were L1, maybe he needs to play against that level week in, week out.

I'll reserve judgement on Ben Williams. Meh.

But on Oduor I think you are well wide of the mark. Looked fit, hungry and oh so skillful last night. Was our main source of attack. There is a real talent there and after last season he deserves at the very least, game time.

I don't understand why Adeboyejo's extra year was triggered if we were going to be looking to bring in numerous strikers in the window. Miller is probably a useful backup RWB, probably better than Frieser who played there at Cardiff last season.

Odour needs to find his position in the team, unfortunately he missed some big chances yesterday, and missed them badly. Am still not sure what his best position is, probably a no. 10, but we don't play a formation that includes one at the moment.

Ben Williams should be given a run at LWB now he has been selected there in the league.
