Well I did sit in a car, listened in to the whole event, I must have nodded off during the hattrick of disallowed goals. Sarcasm aside, i didn't mean to judge his whole ability based off that kick but from the commentary of those at the game who are seasoned footballing observers, the miss was called as he approached the ball, lacked confidence and that so often translates into a poor kick. He wasn't on the pitch too long, if he isn't unfit or he wasnt up for it then what's the reason ?
He just took a bad penalty, it happens sometimes, even to good players. Mowatt and Dike took bad penalties last season, one was lucky enough to score because the keeper dived out of the way. He might not even be a penalty taker, doesn't mean he's a bad striker. Just need to look at his dad for evidence of that.
4 out of 5 penalties in usually wins a game. Not last night. I'm losing no sleep over it TBH. Cauley was off the pitch, or would no doubt have buried his. Let's move on.
