Go on the train to Leeds, then to burley park station. Then a 5minute stroll. Easy and cheap. Burley park is closer than headingley station.

You'll find street parking in Hyde Park / Burley, about 5 / 10 mins away, as all the students are gone. Don't try parking in Headingley itself.
That said the Burley Park train suggestion is a good one.

    Not outside my house :D

The suggestion above about the train station is a good one, the Burley Park station is about a 3 min walk away, if that and is the first stop if you get on the train at Leeds. Most of the streets around the stadium are free parking but fill up pretty quickly, just make sure you check you're not in a permit holders only area.

we got train last sat night but 1st was full, ended up walking it into leeds, off again later but staying night in leeds
basically if we're getting tonked it's worth leaving earlier on this occasion, the missus coming this time and she won't walk it!

Fun. Hanging off the outside handrail though. All the photos I've seen show em deliriously happy. :)

Been to quite a few big rugby games at headingley. Never failed to park quite easily. I couldn’t tell you where but always found somewhere close by

I park about 15 mins walk away, just off the Otley Road. Never a problem for evening matches

The key is to get off at Burley park going but get on headingley going back, as that’s before Burley park when going the other way.

I’ll admit it - I WAS WRONG! I said I wouldn’t bother watching this but as each “Yorkshire” game has gone by I’ve really enjoyed it.

That was fantastic entertainment there and the Lanky fielding was pure Benny Hill stuff. Magnificent batting boys. Now do it with the ball.

Makes up for the women losing again earlier. They have gone from unbeaten to three without a win. Winfield Hill is the captain but needs dropping. She's yet to get a score.
