Behaviour of the guys in the football shirts may be childish but they are doing nothing wrong - as WA says - happens at all grounds.
The guy doing the salute may not have been at Oakwell - may not be a football fan - and begs the question is BFC responsible for any anti-social/illegal behaviour NOT on their premises?
Picture should be handed to the police - they will assess if the suited guy has committed an offence and then take things from there.
And questions should be asked of the Mount owner/manager as to why such behaviour happened - one for the Police Licensing Officers ??

Once this individual is properly identified, he'll be facing a permanent ban from Oakwell and the police.

    Idiot.

People on here are are saying about kids and women being offended, was saying to my son if I had a young child I would think twice about taking them to football, the language and rude gesticulating seems to get worse, maybe it’s being away from it for a while it emphasised it,but there were young kids in front of us and the language being used all around was shocking ,let’s hope it goes straight over their heads,it’s not going to change as it’s football but don’t mean it’s right

It is normal banter at football. For some. Which is pretty bloody sad and pathetic. They should grow the f**k up.

Even if he was at Oakwell because it didn't happen at the football ground it should primarily be a police matter and if he has committed an offence * he should be charged and The Mount taken to task.
    * from a still photograph it would be difficult to prove what exactly the gesture meant.

Also there is the question of whether or not the Club should respond to fans bad behaviour away from the ground?
Has anyone ever been banned from Oakwell for something that they did wrong outside the ground?

He was indeed at Oakwell, 4 or 5 rows in front of me on The Ponty.
He seemed to have some beef with a bunch of blokes who came in fancy dress, though the suit he was wearing suggested he, himself, had also come in fancy dress as Herman Munster.

Wouldn't be surprised if there were a few banned after yesterday tbh.

He was at Oakwell, he was sat just below me. Never seen him before though. Had several altercations with stewards, mainly to do with his inability to sit down. I get that standing at a football match is a contentious subject, but why buy a ticket for 6 rows from the front, if you want to stand all game?

You shouldn't need to think twice though. Football is for everyone, not just racist thugs.

There’s a video out there of him doing it but I can’t for the life of me remember who shared it. It was a very deliberate pose.

Hi mate. Would you be willing to help us with identifying the individual? If so, feel free to drop me a private message. Cheers.
