The best info I have regards digital version is: If an Android device, you need to go to - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel&hl=en_GB&gl=US Download that. If you have it already, it may need an update. So run that. Then open your email using the gmail app. For iPhone, go here - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204003 For those users, your default browser is Safari. That is all I know. And I've somehow got Apple Pay in my wallet, a bank card attached etc. No recollection of doing it, never mind how I did it. Sorry!
so you click on the link in the email and it takes you to a screen that shows the season ticket and has an add it button at the top, when you click it it crashes is that right? that should work. Realy dumb question you are doing this on your iphone arent you
I’ve managed it now, thank you. Now don’t laugh everyone but I wasn’t looking in the actual app (I didn’t even know there was one as I’d hidden it in a folder for the apps I don’t use). I was getting to Apple Pay by going through Settings, which is how I added my bank card. Thanks to Whitey’s link, I went to the App Store, clicked on the App and there it was. I’ve since found where I hid the app and moved it to the home screen. I’m an idiot but the information might help someone else?!
Exactly all that, and I am doing it on my iPhone… I managed to find another way to be dumb. See reply above!
Glad you sorted it we've all done similar dumb things in the past so at least you made me laugh when I read your post (not everyone will admit it mind)
Did I completely imagine it or was it working at about 5 to 3 on Saturday too? I'm sure I saw it have a clock on at one point
I never saw it change myself, but others have reported it tried once or twice. And I've seen fan footage of it briefly trying to come on just before half-time. The thing is a shambles. But hey ho!
Reboot it. Fixes all known computing issues (joking of course). OK, just seen post before mine which is much more elegantly put.
I would have thought giving it a good thump on the top would be the next step- it used to work with TV's back in the day when they had valves and CRT screens
My Apple Wallet has the lot - Bank cards, Nectar, Boots, NHS Covid pass, Sparks and whenever I travel it always takes my boarding cards. I loaded the season ticket to it as soon as it arrived and it worked fine on Saturday.
You know that, we all know that and it has been so for a heck of a long time now so........doesn't anyone at the club who has responsibility for the ground workings also know that? Surely everyone knows it so why, after all this time, is it still there? Even some lower league clubs have proper BIG screens (sometimes two) so why are we bumbling along with an outsize TV set?
The annoying thing about this marvellous, newish technology is you never know when it is going to fail. Sometimes a card works fine in one shop, and then not at another one. The point of Apple Wallet and similar things is to make your physical wallet thinner, by allowing you to leave a wedge of plastic at home. The trouble is that, so far, I don't trust the phone wallet to work EVERY time so still carry the cards "just in case".
When it's a scoreboard ie displays score and clock its ok ........ according to the specification its perfect size, according to my eyes its too small.
I don’t use mine a lot, but i don’t recall it ever failing. That said; I never leave the house without my phone in one pocket and my wallet in the other.
