    We’re just a bit too hesitant when we break forward. Always taking an extra touch which gives them a chance to defend it. All looks very nice, but too easy to defend

    Exactly how teams played against us under Val until towards the end of last season when they matched us up. It may well be pretty at times but what have we got to show for it, **** all so far.

    Our starting position is far too deep, there’s a massive gap between our midfield & forward players, so we resort to lumping it down the channels after a couple of sideways passes between our back line. It’s largely ineffective & hopefully we cut it out quick! It’s all too reminiscent of life before lockdown. Thank god Anderson isn’t playing!

    Under Val it was simple but mightily effective.. Appreciate its only three games in to the new season but I don't see any sort of pattern or blueprint of how Schopp wants us to play. A bit of tippy tappy and then lump it forward.
