Thanks for the three points Tykes, I suspect we will give them back at the Kenny. Seems to be how it works.

Looked like two teams trying really hard but the systems and new players not yet honed. We couldn't hold the ball, our pass rate was an appalling 34% against your 74%. Yet with Lockyer finally back our defence held strong, he is a darned good player. Our signings new are all tough ball winners. You looked slick at times but the balance was not right and seemed like a lack of a striker? See you later in the season. Hope things go okay

Pass rate must have changed dramatically in second half then but didn’t seem it .
77% to 41% first half in your favour

Well done for tonight - thought you looked solid but unremarkable. You'll do just fine. Good luck for the rest of the season - I've a lot of time for Luton.

I was reliably informed the stats i quoted were off iFollow also at ht.
Think you’ll do well this season tbh decent players with a never say die attitude gaining confidence as season goes on .
Reminds moe if another team from last season who’s name escapes me :)

Thought Luton looked pretty good, pressed really well, shame Lansbury goes down quicker than a 10 bob whore

I thought Luton looked strong and quick, particularly in midfield and up top. Mastered the time wasting towards the end, much to the frustration of us all.

I thought you looked a very well organised side. I reckon some teams might punish you a bit better than we did around the penalty box, as it was alarming how many second balls we were winning on the edge of the penalty area, without actually troubling you once we'd won them. At the end of the day though, you were bigger, stronger, fitter and more well drilled than us, and thoroughly deserved the points.

We are indeed missing a striker. We've 2 Belgians who we signed weeks ago who haven't shown up yet. They're either walking it, or they've bought my old Punto.

People say were missing a striker? Harry kane wouldn't have scored tonight and woodrow won't get 5 from open play with the football schlepping is serving up.

Luton reminded me of us last season very direct there front men built like basketball players well organised. We got what we deserved nothing.

Well we certainly have a far stronger all round squad, two decent players for each position except we don't have anyone who can really hold the ball and slow it down like Dewsbury Hall last season. Clear to see you weren't as well drilled as last season under Valerien but some of the play was pretty tasty. I think most of the fans think we will finish about 7th to 10th if we keep the manager

Your strikers were quite a handful tonight but we tried our best to keep giving it you with tippy tappy boll0x.

Why make 6 passes then one under pressure which goes 50//50 or given away when the keeper can find a man and get it up the field. Saw this coming in pre season.

poor - sinple as. We’ll be bottom in a few games if we persist with it. Already feels like our season hinges on how good these belgium strikers are. God knows where they are or what they are up to ot if they are any good.
