he got 15 goals last season. Maybe do a bit of research before writing incorrect nonsense and people will be more willing to listen to you.

I have posted in various threads about Woodrow, defending him from the ludicrous accusation of being bone idle. His role has changed somewhat from when he first came as an out and out striker alongside Keiffer Moore. I don’t defend him blindly and will say so when I think he has had a poor game as I believe he did last night. I won’t simply judge him on goals scored I will look at his overall contribution

 

Which year specifically?

Last year when he was top scorer with 15 goals
The year before when he was top scorer with 15 goals
Or the year before when he got 19.

Needs to get a bit more streetwise. Last night he’s laughing and joking with one of Luton’s players when one of them was down wasting yet more time. He should be in the refs ear like literally every club does with us when we are winning.

 

VI instilled that belief, got the best out of the players & made us hard to beat. He was a constant voice on the touchline rallying the lads. If we were under performing, I’m in no doubts the lads knew about it. We seem soft as ***** at the minute., we might as well roll over and have our belly’s tickled.

 

All I will say and have intimated before. Woodrow ain't good enough. He's just not. Having said that he's the best striker we have. In other words the forward line is pants

Yes let's conveniently forget that out of the ten penalties taken by both teams in the shootout five were missed.

 

And if ya added up all penalties taken I would certainly say there would be far more scored than missed / saved

 

Does it count if someone scores a header from a corner?

Or if there's a defensive howler and it's a tap in?

Just so we know what goals we're allowed to count.

 

You've got to be in the area to get a penalty in the first place too, don't forget. Maybe we should change the rules so penalties don't count as much for you?
