I think you're spot on with this. What the media team turn out is generally good. Sometimes the tone is a bit too partisan, but I can forgive that. The really big stuff though (and thats not the in the absolute remit of the media team) varies significantly and is sometimes non existent, even for basic stuff, like you say, no mention at all of Murphy leaving. An update on the CEO would be obvious, given we supposedly reneged on our word with Watford to get him released early. But no timescales given. I've no idea why as contractually, that's as precise as you're going to get. Or is that down to permit issues at the point of changing employment too? And I really don't understand why we've not been open about player visas. We know the issues post brexit, we know its harder to sign players from the continent and there are greater checks now involved. So just be open about it. Instead, we've had a week of conspiracy that will always take root when there is an information vacuum. To the point the attitude of two players has been questioned. I'd have hoped some hadn't gone down that avenue, but it could so easily have been averted with simple truth. We're waiting on permits, that's complicated by Brexit. Simple.

How can it not be visa issues.. then it's visa issues.. can't believe two words that come out of that club.. What is it.. pay peanuts..
I'm more bothered that we'll have to play with a combination of Woodrow, Freiser, Adeboyejo, Miller, Cole and Oduor up front while well into September.
One other requirement is a willingness to learn. Sometimes this means that a player may not always appear to be the best choice in the short term, but will quickly improve given the opportunity to do so. The coach will give these individuals every chance because he believes they can carry out his instructions.
It’s just bizarre. Was only Tuesday night when Schopp seemed to suggest it was up to the players to get themselves up to standard. I’m assuming when he said “it’s up to them” that he didn’t mean the home office. At what point do the club have to plan for them not getting visas? Or is the hold up on our side, given the disruptions at the club?
Is there anything which just isn’t so much better since Brexit? It’s the gift that keeps on giving isn’t it? (Sarcasm)
@Loko the Tyke this is what I was trying to articulate the other day, when I was absolutely NOT having a pop at the Media team Poor communication from above, in essence
Two things are wrong in all this, and it reflects badly on our new gaffer, despite the fact he has obviously been put in an awkward situation. 1) He feels he has to tell porkys in Pressers by alluding to the fact the new lads 'might' feature next game (after Cardiff) - all down to the fact that he has been told what to say?? 2) As above but .......... he doesn't really know what else he is supposed to say??
Has there been a general decline in actual journalism or am I just getting old and bitter? Doug O'Kane is basically a mouth piece for the club then? Like Laura Kuenssberg - just regurgitating the words of Dom Cummings verbatim with no attempt to do any investigation themselves or ask awkward questions. I know that their job relies on access to these people and organisatons so there might be some soft peddling, but come on.
