    He was the worst combination for a forward. Unlucky but could play a bit. You are better to be lucky but otherwise crap.

    Luke Berry.

    Thought he was a decent player with potential when we had him but people generally didn't have a lot of patience. He suffered because he was brought in alongside a lot of dross (Treacey, Bailey, Reece Brown) and got lumped in with them - but unlike them has gone on to get a decent number of games at championship level.

    I think that falls into they were that "sh 1t" they were good category. A bit like Goran Lovre and Brad Potts. I don't know what they did but the team clicked when they were playing.

    We wouldn't have got promoted in '81 without Ray in the team. Only lost 1 game in the run-in to secure Promotion, lost the previous 3 before Ray started.

    The most under-rated player to play for Barnsley imho. Allowed Glavin to do his thing :)

    I remember someone in the Brewery Stand shouting "Geroff Banks tha sh|t" - and that was before kick off

    I always liked Steve Lowndes but didn't seem to be get too many plaudits
