After discussions….Birmingham have secured another 500 tickets, but the total of 2000 is the full allocation!! What’s going on, why would we just chuck away the chance of selling up to another 3000 tickets at £23 a pop??? North stand/area issue - or some strange Covid rule??
Is it just that that's all Birmingham will bring? If it's some ground capacity thing for policing costs then it really is a shambles
So are we seriously saying that a 6000 seater stand now has a 2000 seat capacity and 4000 seats cant be used. If so what is the reason - when the capacity was reduced from 6000 to 4500 after the Leeds game I could understand - though not agree with - the logic to keep the corner block and the front 2 rows empty. I never got the logic behind not using aisle seats but at least there was a reason stated for it if the stand now has a limit of 2000 that needs someone to explain because I cant think of any reason why that can be the case. This cant be right surely
The North Stand was built on an ancient Indian burial ground. It has structural defects as a consequence and covenant to protect it. No more than 2000 spectators must cross it's fresh hold otherwise half of Dearne Valley will fall into a huge chasm.
Would you rather watch the football, or look at a full stand? Will it spoil your enjoyment of the game?
Please don"t wind the west stand haters up please , some of those spend 90 minutes looking at the stand & then come on here to moan about it , I actually enjoy looking at the game !!
