Getting rid of Matty James was the correct decision in retrospect, Palmer has undoubtedly benefitted from the experience he gained. If there is any chance of us getting Conor though we absolutely must.
Nothing wrong with asking for experience but its also down to tactics in particular circumstances as well as other things like fresh legs, injuries etc... I personally though Schopp ended up getting his tactics wrong 2nd half, but having said that they nearly scored three goals....I know I'm rambling but its fine margins.
Certainly nothing against halme and moon in fact the latter played a great cross field pass it’s just that need for round pegs in round holes when it matters.
Plenty of sympathy for Stendel on that score. None whatsoever for Struber and I don’t think Val has ever asked for any
Can't people remember how godawful he was at the back end of last season? Swansea fans weren't complimentary about him and he couldn't pick out simple passes in the playoffs. Not for me. Experience is great, but not at the expense of someone who can play. There has to be better options out there.
I always say never go back. Apart from Hammill that’s worked pretty well. It’s not going to happen anyway though if it did he might get his mojo back
But he isn't class, everything about him last season was a clear indicator that he's no longer class. He was great, why would you want him to come back and tarnish that legacy?
Most of those coming when he first got there, he was largely anonymous after his 5th game for them. Swansea fans think he took them backwards.
