Great goal again today. Checked his run perfectly, as he did against Coventry and finished when he still had a lot to do. Intelligent play. Proving a fair few people on here wrong so far.
Fridge is our most underated player. All that was missing from his game last season was the goals. If he adds that this season to his skill set we will struggle to keep hold of him. Took both goals very well indeed. They look easy through on goal but you've longer to think about it, which can be a negative.
Last minute subscriptions to the Frieser Fan Club are going to cost top dollar. No bandwagon jumpers allowed. Thems the rules
Lest we forget, he also found the net at Cardiff. He did stray marginally offside, but it was a similar sort of chance to the 2 he's converted. It was clear from his goals last season that he is a strong finisher. He just rarely got into the right area. I think that was down to our style of play. This turning defense into attack quite quickly will suit him down to the ground, as he appears to have a knack of playing off the shoulder of the last defender. When he stays onside, he's a threat in behind.
Always liked him, it's easy to forget that players need a bit of time to settle in especially foreign ones.
I’ll have your honorary membership card with me at the first FanZone. There’s only two of the black metal ones in existence. Everyone else gets red cardboard ones
I'll have to be Chairman then Plus anyone who scores the winner at Hillsboro goes down in Barnsley history as a club legend
Il stick to my guns...... Never wanted to be part of it anyway....... Another 10 goals I might change my mind tho
Were there not a number of comments when he scored his first goal in a Barnsley shirt? Freiser's first opportunity was when he calmly picked his spot and stroked the ball home.. no power just placement leaving the keeper with no chance. He displayed composure. Given that, it was at a period where Chaplin, Bahre, Woodrow seemed to be unable to hit the proverbial 'barn door' it made difference even more obvious. I clearly recall thinking at the time, that's how to do it! Since then of course Woodrow has, in spite of a clear loss of form from his first season, gone on to score goals unlike Frieser whose tally dried up. Once again though Freiser has demonstrated that same composure and calmness in front of goal which others, including Cauley, could learn from. I did not see the match but a number of reports I have read suggest Cauley missed a great chance but managed to miss when he really should have scored. CW is a good player and I understand why so many people like him but his conversion rate leaves a lot to be desired . As a team, the same applies..good build up play creating goal scoring opportunities which, too often, they have failed to capitalise on. With the number of tight games we saw, that cost us critical points last season.
I always thought he contributed a lot of he can now start regularly adding goals to his game that will be a massive plus.
Must admit i'm one of the humble pie brigade' i always said he was no more than nuisance value but he's certainly showing a bit more now' i just hope Cole proves me wrong aswell because to be honest' saying he is nuisance value would be flattering him greatly...

Lovely, if it's worth more than a tenner though I'll probably sell it. and retain an ongoing interest
