His domestic minutes don't get him 4 points by my count, I get 3 but that's assuming that the reason for him missing 5 months of the season was through injury which his interview when signing for us seems to contradict (and which the fa require evidence of). I also didn't get him getting 2 points for the Europa League has he didn't play enough minutes. Of the 9 games he was suspended for 1 and eligible for the other 8 which is 750 minutes (one went to extra time), he played 201 minutes which is 27% of eligible minutes. To gain any points he had to play a minimum of 50% of all available minutes of a band 2 (Europa League) competition

Yes, I've already realised I could be wrong with Table 2 and Table 3. I think the domestic and continental minutes calculations are too complicated for us to work out, as we don't know some of the numbers involved for the weighted average formula.

Edit: He only actually missed 4 domestic games for which he was available. The rest he missed due to a hip injury, muscle partial avulsion and coronavirus.

I still get 4 pts for his domestic minutes. He was available for 16 games and played 478 minutes out of a possible 1,440 which is 33.19%.

It's actually impossible to get 3 pts for domestic minutes in Band 2.

That's the thing. Transfermarkt says he was injured from December till I think the end of Feb and then out with coronavirus for 3 months. His interview when he signed says he was fit and raring to go in January but the transfer fell though and he trained every day from then waiting for us. You're right about not being able to get 3 points though, not sure what I was thinking of
