In a sense yes but I think they would most certainly do irreparable damage with the fan base if they tried to move us away.
Yeah I saw alpt of piss taking between barnsley and Coventry fans on social media after the game. Many Barnsley fans were taking the piss about Coventry playing there home games elsewhere the past few seasons, I was thinking one day that could be us hopefully not though.

Once wanted additional money to pay for Barnsley and the other wanted us to change our playing style for him. Obviously, the club don't entertain those sort of requests.
I hope the player who acted like a **** with us gets outed. He doesn't deserve for it to be kept private. Interesting how quickly he changed the topic the couple of times Murphy was brought up. Something has gone down there that will come out one day.
For me, I’m not worried. It’s too expensive to move and build a new stadium. We’re only 1 stand and additional investment to other stands away from having good stadium anyway. The whole issue seems to revolve around actual title deeds, and whilst renting, who’s footing the bill for extra repairs. Remember 2 things: 1) I reckon the council and Cryne have had their initial money back from the stadium, and are now making money on it. 2) Under the Cryne era, the stadium was barely touched. Just very basics done to it with little money invested. That takes a lot of time and money to make up for.
Not sure if that's the case. Didn't they pay about 5m to buy the ground? There was a much lower rent for the majority of the time since. It did increase to 150K year but that was only in last 5-7 years (I think).
He did media with us and sneaked off quietly instead of being open in person and then going. Unprofessional.
I actually thought that Paul said in the fan session tonight the player had actualy signed his contract and done the medical but he also said we don't want players who don't want to be at Oakwell. He gave the examples of Josh who dropped from the prem to play for us and the Belgians who took pay cuts to play here. That's the sort of players we want so i guess at the point he sneaks off the contract is ripped up.
I’ve £1.5m in my head. Can’t remember if that was each or overall. Either way, £3m tops + legal fees etc…..
