ifollow problem

    After 18 months+ safely avoiding covid, I went and caught it at Oakwell didn't I?! - Anyway, slowly recovering, and intending to use VPN to watch online instead, but when I try to pay for a pass, the ifollow link says "This match is not yet ready for purchase" - Anybody know what this is all about? My VPN has worked before, as I sit back and watch games from N York!

    I watch games from abroad and iFollow only works with the VPN turned off. It needs to detect you’re not in the UK for games only broadcast overseas.

    It's doing the same for me. To be honest I pretty much always buy mine at about 14:50 on the day, so never noticed it before!

    Oakwell was absolutely the only place that I, or my wife, had been to all week, and I have gone through all the required notifications. Glad to be starting to recover!

    Yes, just found this too. My big concern is that though my VPN has servers in many countries on the list, there are fewer of them, and the service may not be so good for streaming videos. Will have to make a last minute decision about which I go for? ---- Or have I got this wrong? Do you need the VPN just to pay for the pass, and then can you watch without the VPN?

    You will need the vpn on but in any case, you shouldn’t be travelling if you have COVID :cool:

    Factually speaking, I have never lived in Barnsley… could see the floodlights and the town hall from my bedroom window growing up in Wath. Left the Dearne Valley at 18 in 1989 and have never returned other than on visits to Oakwell or family (note order)…
