There'll be some beauties to pick through today, no doubt. Considering the Visa issues we've experienced, I can't see us looking abroad. I reckon if anyone comes in it'll be from league 1 or 2.
The reason we were so vocal about the Home Office, and why we intend to push for change in that area, is because we see Europe as being where the potential is. Anyone from League Two needs to be like Kitching and ready to step up straight away, which isn’t many. League One pricing themselves out.
Scouts from Germany, Holland and Denmark watching this kid at the weekend. Our offer is the only serious one judging by reports but way short of what they’re wanting.
Seemingly Kehinde is eligible to play for either Nigeria (his country of birth) or England where he lived for so long (he was on Manchester United's books) which suggests a visa might not be an issue. This rumour might have legs.
Yeah, I get that, but I'm just thinking about timescales, can we really risk a potential month long delay in getting a player even training with us at this stage in the season?
Do we need a left winger though? I mean if he's better than what we've got, yes, but it's not the first area I'd be looking to strengthen.
I think we can if it’s the right player, or rephrased I think the owners won’t switch to a player deemed a lesser target just because of a Visa that should be granted immediately. No issues on that front with the two names linked so far at least.
Tom Ince last appearance v Doncaster he played as a left wing back Did ok defensively apparently and also scored. I think he would do well anywhere on the left. He is certainly experienced. Don't particular like him personally but is worth a shout as a loan till end of season.
