Yes Helen!! Such a lovely experience at a football match. didn't go into the fanzone there but apparently it was brilliant. and the sun was shining!
Keith Allen wasn’t very friendly, that year they battered us 5 or 6 nowt. He got thrown out. I’d like to add Norwich to the list. But never saw us win there..
Rochdale away in the last promotion season, friendly home fans, lovely sunny evening, Keiffer hat trick.
Fulham for me - only downside is the outrageous drinks prices in the pubs. Oxford fans at Wembely and in the pub before the game at their place were pretty decent as well always had a good day at Yeovil and Torquay (helped by the fact we didnt always lose there)
Huddersfield Town. The only away ground I've been to more than once. The draw that kept us both up was an amazing day out. I also remember in the 05/06 season, we lost 1-0... we were screaming for Nardiello to come on as a sub and within 5-10 minutes of him coming on he got sent off
Oxford, JPT Final, Wembley. Decent fans, families, no hassle and they were just glad to be there. Also many who went weren’t really fans, just families from the area. A little different to the next game we had down there……
I must concur here. Bielefeld was top notch. Also the good natured scenes at Wembley v Oxford. Top lads. A total contrast to what Millwall were at Wembley.
Ipswich. Always been good at Portman Road and their humility after their 2000 play off final win was to be applauded.
1. Accrington. Concur with everyone else, most enjoyable day out following the reds. 2. Burton Albion. 3. Brentford 4. Oxford United at Wembley 5. Did I mention Accrington. Worth another mention. Their focus on customer service was a model for others to follow and the fan zone was brilliant. First class community club.
