I can only remember vague details but there's a girl who's dad sits down at the dinner table with his newspaper then disappears and it happens over and over because hes a ghost and it's just a hologram of his last moments or something like that and the whole movie is about ghosts that people can still see but what they do never changes except one which gets more aggressive Any clues?
I don't know why I even clicked to open this thread. It doesn't matter that plot line you wrote, my answer was always going to be 'no'. I think I've probably seen fewer films than anyone on earth.
You never know, it might have been the one about the bloke who dresses up in a bat costume and fights crime in a city called Gotham. You must know that one? Or the seven magnificent blokes who rescue a Mexican village from bandits?
I still see you (2018)? It's the first result that comes up if you Google 'father sits down with newspaper but he's still a ghost'. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Still_See_You_(film)
That's it!!! And I promise you that didn't come up when I searched for that. Ive searched for every combination of those words and got nothing like it for some reason.
And I thought I was bad, not having seen ET, Titanic or Reservoir Dogs. What about Star Wars? Have you seen that one? I mean, it's bloody rubbish, but everybody's seen it... haven't they?
I reckon I could beat you. I never EVER watch films. On the rare occasions when my wife persuades me to look, I lose the plot after a few minutes and end up staring blankly out of the window.
Don’t tell me you haven’t even seen Bambi. I thought that was compulsory for every young child as part of growing up
I bet I'm close?. Apart from a Northern Soul film I went to watch at an art house cinema in Sheffield, I haven't been to the cinema since the 1970's. As for telly, Jackie Brown was probably the last film I watched.
I’ve seen Titanic out of that lot and that’s only because my mam is weirdly obsessed with disaster movies. In fact, she’s the reason I don’t like films because until I was in my early twenties I honestly thought all films were around 3 hours long as every film I’d ever seen was.
I bet you wouldn’t. I even watch clips on social media with the sound off and subtitles (if they have them). I think they only thing I ever watch with sound is BFC stuff, and even then I’ll mute it if it’s a Whitey weird music special
