    Another great ball but the batting today has been disgraceful. No attempt to win it at all. They have been so negative since 11 am at trying to see out a draw that they have lost more wickets than they probably would have done if they had played their usual positive run rate game.

    No problem with the scoring rate in the first session, but a run out is criminal in these circumstances. After lunch, I thought it would be Root ticking things over and hameed playing an anchor role, no idea why hameed didn’t just pad that ball away and make jadeja bowl at him away from the rough.
