It's not "gone" forever, it's been suspended for 12 months, and the CPI 2.5% increase will be applied instead of the 8% that would have been applied under the triple lock. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but let's be accurate.

HS2 will merely push house prices up in and around it's route . This means banks can create even bigger loans to help their bottom line . It's all one big gravy train , no pun intended .
