    ITV Documentary

Just finished watching it on ITV HUB and even after 20 years it still seems like it’s out of a movie

It's crazy that it's twenty years on Saturday.

New documentary on Netflix about it, only on episode 3 but it's very eye-opening

I am no fan of War criminal George W Bush. But I don't know how he kept it all together when he got told what was happening in a classroom full of kids.

Watch The New Pearl Harbour. It’s on YouTube. Five hours long.

    Very interesting.

Some will call it tinfoil-hat stuff, but there's a lot of thought-provoking content.

The best thing I’ve seen that covers the events of that day and beyond. Rated 9.1 on IMDb.

Is this the one that says: Question, all the time? And that promotes the group: Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth?

If it is then I've watched it and it is tinfoil hat stuff. Are there unanswered questions and unknowns about the day? Sure.

Was there was another, secret, complex conspiracy (who? shrug), other than the documented criminal one that is (generally) accepted as fact, that wanted to attack the US (why? shrug), that would have required (and maintaining the secrecy of would still require) thousands and thousands of people spanning all aspects of US life, government, security and military (predominantly US citizens, surely) without there ever having been a single meaningful argument put forward as to how or why, or an even semi-coherent account from anyone with "inside knowledge", or deathbed confession?

    No.

In fact, at it's worst this documentary is gravedigging gossip masquerading as insight for the "edification" of "truthers".

Just watched 9/11 Life Under Attack, pretty harrowing stuff.

I was at work at Jaguar, that day, watching the events unfold on the internet. The whole place came to a halt. Had to keep reminding myself it wasn't a Hollywood disaster movie. The sense of being outside reality I felt that day came back to me watching this.

I've never got around to reading it all, but Zizek's "Welcome to the Desert of the Real" covers this in depth. Fundamentally Capitalism desires apocalypse, which is why there were so many high profile disaster films back then. Only to be violently shaken when confronted by the reality of that violence, like Neo awakening outside of the Matrix, or summat.

It was so strange watching it unfold.

Remember it like it was yesterday. I was stock controller for a distribution company and we had got the contract for bush/alba who had just come onto the market.

Went out to get one of their drivers to back on the bay oblivious to what was going off over the pond. I remember his face, the look of shock and disbelief. I mean I'd only asked him to back on the bay, but then he turned and said have you seen this.

He had got a small TV in his cab and by now it was on all over itv and BBC, I got in and watched the scenes unfolding.

After a few minutes I ran back in the warehouse and told everyone, radios went on as we all listened to what was being described. Everyone just looking and thinking how was this possible.

    Absolutely bonkers day.

WWE were the first company to put on a show after 9/11. Other major American sports cancelled planned events. WWE took the bull by the horns and put on a broadcast under trying circumstances to stick it to the terrorists and give the viewers at home something to watch for a few hours to hopefully give them a bit of enjoyment.

100% inside job. 3000 citizens murdered as an excuse to go to war with Iraq. I'm a builder and i refuse to believe jet fuel can melt steel that's incased in concrete. The windows would have been toughened saftey glass. Not your average double glazing. You know the one, you buy one, you get one free. Each floor would have fire boards for the ceilings and fire doors.

WWE also put on a show while the ring was bloodstained from their dead wrestler. Vince McMahon didn't put on any shows to stick it to anyone, he does everything he does to make money

I know, but that's all I could be bothered to type. Nothing stacks up. I just wanted to chuck my professional opinion in, as I've spent nearly 20 years in this industry.

    "In this industry"

That has to be my favourite comment ever on this site from someone who lists their occupation as bricklayer. Well played sir. Well played. Top level stuff
